GUIDELINES
1. Be Compassionate and Non-Judgmental
Mental health discussions can be deeply personal. Approach every conversation with empathy, avoid judgment, and be mindful of how your words may affect others.
2. Respect Different Experiences
Everyone’s mental health journey is unique. Even if you disagree, respond with respect and understanding. Harmful or offensive language will not be tolerated.
3. Maintain Privacy
Avoid sharing personal information, both your own and that of others. This includes private details that can identify individuals. Respect anonymity when discussing sensitive topics.
4. Focus on Mental Health Topics
Keep discussions relevant to mental health and wellness. This includes sharing experiences, coping strategies, asking questions, or exploring helpful resources.
5. Check for Existing Discussions
Before posting a new topic, check if a similar conversation already exists. This helps keep the forum organized and ensures that valuable insights aren’t duplicated.
6. Be Mindful of Triggers
Avoid sharing graphic details about trauma, self-harm, or other sensitive subjects. Use trigger warnings if necessary and consider the impact on others when sharing personal stories.
7. No Promotion or Spam
This is a space for support, not self-promotion. Refrain from posting unsolicited advertisements, fundraising links, or irrelevant content.
8. Contribute to a Positive Community
Our goal is to foster hope, understanding, and support. Encourage others, share constructive feedback, and contribute to discussions that uplift and help people feel connected.
9. Seek Professional Help When Needed
While this forum is a space for sharing and support, it is not a substitute for professional care. If you're in crisis or need immediate assistance, please reach out to a healthcare provider or a mental health hotline.
10. Respect Moderation Decisions
Moderators are here to ensure the forum remains a safe, supportive space for everyone. Please respect their decisions regarding content, behavior, and any actions taken to enforce the guidelines.
